
I worked with Storyation to create an editorial illustration for The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, for their first issue of a custom bi-annual magazine. The illustration accompanied an essay by Chloe Hooper, which described the experience of musicians during isolation - how they coped with being unable to play together, and the feeling of being able to return to performing again. T
he above illustration was the final version. It was focused around the concept of a 'ghost light' which is used in empty performance halls to illuminate the space while it is unoccupied. Here we see a ghostly musician onstage approaching the ghost light; a sign of life filling the space after a long absence.
